At LCRA, we are currently seeking a highly motivated Mechanical Engineer to join our generation department! Working as a generation engineer at LCRAis a key function to support the reliable supply of electricity for the people of Central Texas. The LCRA Hydro facilities use vintage equipment with modern updates to perform in the competitive Texas electric market. It will be an exciting time as the units adapt to evolving market needs.
This position requires performing variety of engineering assignments including but not limited to field investigation, troubleshooting, report writing, design calculations, and drawing plans and details. There will be opportunities to learn on the job, use engineering principles, and great comradery with co-workers.
