Company Overview
An industry leader in the expertise of part replication, RER utilizes state of the art technology that includes; a 7-Axis Romer Absolute Arm with an integrated accuracy of .0013” for short range laser scanning, Surpahser 25 HSX Hemispherical Scanner with sub-millimeter capabilities and a maximum scan rate of 1.2 million points per second; ideal for parts greater than 36” in diameter. Material analysis is performed using a Thermo Scientific XL3t 980 GOLDD+. This instrument utilizes a 50kv x-ray tube to provide positive material identification. Deploying this technology to assist with reverse engineering in the field has contributed to timely overhauls, expedited deliveries and cost savings benefits for our customers. To meet customer emergency response requests, RER created a state-of-the-art tool crib. Created for efficiency, these (2) 20’ tool container are fully equipped with all the tool precision instruments, hydraulic equipment and portable machining equipment necessary to perform large turnkey products.
RER employ’s a full time Quality Manager on staff to implement design control, and to ensure quality and compliance of all pump repairs and fabrications are performed both in the shop and in the field are practiced. Nuclear safety related repairs and fabrications are performed in accordance with ASME NQA-1 and 10CFR50 Appendix B. RER is currently in the process of obtaining ASME “NPT” Certification; Nuclear safety related part fabrications and repairs/replacement pertinent to ASME section III N-Stamp pumps. On June 18, 2009 Rotating Equipment Repair received the Safety and Health Achievement Recognition Program (SHARP) award. To achieve this honor, RER demonstrated a commitment to the health and safety of our employees.
Company History
Kurt Weis, a Mechanical Engineer and two other Allis Chalmers Custom Pump Division employees founded Rotating Equipment Repair, in 1982 with a mission: "To be the most sought after pump repair company in the markets served." Built in 2001, our 44,000 square foot facility holds three 10 ton cranes and a dual 30 ton crane. We also have two traveling tool cribs for in the field work. Rotating Equipment Repair has established a reputation for providing high quality industrial pump repair services for the power generation, pulp and paper, and petrochemical industries in the United States and Internationally. We at Rotating Equipment are dedicated to one purpose: serving the needs of our customers.
Benefits
There is an automatic 3% company contribution to our employee's 401(k) accounts with a discretionary contribution which has historically been 7% annually. We also fund an HSA account for our employees in the amount of their deductible. In addition to that we offer an Flexible Spending Account to our employees and Short Term Disability Insurance.
