About 910,000 homes, farms and businesses count on their rural electric cooperatives to deliver electricity 24/7. And they do with power from Associated Electric, the wholesale power supplier to six regional generation and transmission cooperatives (G&Ts) that serve 51 local electric cooperatives in Missouri, southeast Iowa and northeast Oklahoma.
